Plenty of cricket action took place this week, here's the roundup and what's also coming up this weekend at NCC.

Under 9s
NCC 290/2 vs Middewich CC 247/5
NCC 229/9 vs Bunbury CC 287/2
The Under 9s were at home against Middlewich on Monday to kick start a bumper week of cricket with a win! It was a good game full of strong batting, bowling, and catches across both teams! Games have come thick and fast, with a league game against Bunbury on Tuesday and a cup semi-final on Thursday against Davenham.
Under 11s
NCC 225 vs Middlewich 368/2
Under 13s
Middlewich CC 79/1 vs NCC 77/9
The under-13s were away at Middlewich, which we knew would be a tough game to play at the top of the league. Some individual batting performances shone through, and there are a few learnings to take from the game, which the lads will bring forward and improve. Onward and upwards, it will take a lot more to keep these lads down and on to the next one.
Northwich Novas
NCC Novas 269/5 vs Runcorn CC Women’s 1st XI 283/6
Alvanley CC 108/4 vs NCC Novas 128/4
The Northwich Novas fought a well-fought battle on Sunday, June 23rd, against Runcorn, unfortunately losing by 14 runs. It was a great game, with some strong fielding and bowling and a super team spirit! Well done, ladies! Then, on Wednesday evening, the Novas played a high-scoring game with a win against Alvanley! Some great batting and a positive attitude saw us overcome an impressive 308 from Alvanley. Well done, team!
